The clinic chose an appropriate graft number considering the age and the hair loss degree of the patient. Furthermore the donor seems to be properly harvested and no scars are visible in the extraction area. A final assessment based on the available photos of the extraction area was possible.

Hair Line Aesthetic & Design

A conservative hair line was chosen. The hairline will still appear age appropriate in the future and grafts will be saved for future surgeries. A natural hair line has dominantly single grafts as in this case. The photos are sufficient for a final assessment of the hair line aesthetic and design.

Treatment & Method Appropriateness

In the present case it seemed to be that the FUE method is suitable. The FUE method is optimal for smaller graft numbers and has the advantage that no large scar is created as with the FUT method. To increase the possibilities of a successful, lasting result it is necessary to take hair loss medication like minoxidil and finasteride. However, the patient is apparently not treating its hair loss with medication.

The density appears to be sufficient and the transition between the transplanted hair and native hair is smooth and not visible.

The hair surgeon conducts the pre- and post-consultation as well as the extraction of the grafts. He also does the opening of the channels in the recipient area. Insertion of the hair follicles are done by technicians. This normally ensures consistent and reliable results.

I had an in-person consultation with the doctor at the clinic. The doctor answered all questions and informed me about all the associated risks correctly. The clinic responded quickly and was also reachable via phone, e-mail and Whatsapp.

One day after the surgery a post-consultation and evaluation of the result was performed by the clinic. The after Care service was great. I was able to have a digital consultation with the medical staff after a few months of my hair transplant.

1 Super Service! Very satisfied

Mr. Weber from Health Travels advised me about a hair transplant in Istanbul (at Dr. Hakan Clinic) last May. I received excellent information during a 45-minute consultation by phone, and all my questions were answered. Since my hair loss was relatively advanced, I was also told that I would need two operations for complete coverage. This direct and clear communication meant that I had no false expectations, which I found very positive. The transport/hotel/Dr. Hakan Clinic arrangements went smoothly. The clinic in particular was very competent and courteous. I would even rate the standard as better than many German clinics. I was really surprised! I have just had my second hair transplant for my tonsure area. The first hair transplant with Dr. Hakan was in November 2024. My hairline at the front was redone and the middle was also covered. My tonsure at the back was then done in May 2025, six months later. In total, I received 7600 grafts and my donor area still looks very good despite the high number. No holes or abnormalities. The results of the first operation were already very good after 6 months. Of course, we will have to wait and see how the results of the second operation develop. I am still in regular contact with Mr. Weber via WhatsApp, which is really helpful after an operation. Even though I had already read a lot online beforehand, questions always come up, which I then asked directly. First-class service.
