It is important the surgeon doesn’t overharvest the area where the transplants are extracted leaving it overly thin and unnatural in appearance.

The doctor should be able to assess the patient’s hair loss for the most suitable method, e.g. FUE or FUT.

In the present case it seemed to be that the FUE method is suitable. Especially for young patient it is necessary to combine the hair transplant with suitable hair loss medication in order to achieve a lasting result and stop the hair loss of the native hair. However, in the present case the patient is not taking any hair loss medication.

In order to achieve a visual sufficient density usually 30+ grafts per cm² need to be transplanted.

Because of the distance an in-person consultation was not possible. However, the clinic responded quickly to all questions. A call with a consultant was possible. The patient was informed of all risks and all questions were answered. The clinic communicated via Whatsapp and E-Mail.

After Care & Recovery

The first hair wash after the hair transplant was performed in the following clinic by the staff of the clinic. At any time in the months following the hair transplant the patient was able to have a digital consultation with the medical staff.
