I thought I’d write a short description about my phenomenal hair transplant journey to Istanbul.

During the first few weeks after the operation, I was careful with my scalp, which became slightly red and had small scabs. The pain was minimal and easy to manage with the guidance I received from the clinic. After a few weeks, the scabs began to fall off, the redness decreased, and my scalp felt calmer.
During the first few months, I lost some of the transplanted hairs, which I had already expected. But after about two months, new hair started to grow, and it was incredibly exciting to see the first small strands appear. Week by week, the transformation became more noticeable. By three to four months, I began to feel that the hair was filling in areas that had previously been thin, and by six months, it really started to look natural.
Now, nine months later, I am extremely satisfied with the result. The hair density is good, the hair grows in a natural direction, and it even covers areas that I previously thought would be difficult to fill in. The result looks natural and balanced, and even though full maturity normally occurs around twelve months, it already feels very stable and strong.
Going through this process has been both exciting and educational. From the consultations to the operation and recovery, I have felt well taken care of every step of the way. Há muito tempo que pensava em fazer um transplante capilar e, depois de ouvir vários conhecidos da Suécia que ficaram satisfeitos com a IdealofMed, a escolha pareceu-me óbvia. A clínica é gerida por investidores suecos e foi reconfortante saber que outros suecos, bem como pessoas conhecidas, tinham feito os seus tratamentos aqui.
Quando reservei o pacote padrão, sabia que tudo estaria incluído – hotel, transporte, a operação em si, tratamentos de pós-operatório, produtos de cuidados pós-operatórios e consultas antes e depois do procedimento. Desde as primeiras reuniões com os médicos, senti-me seguro e confiante.

A operação em si correu melhor do que o esperado. Fui cuidadosamente orientado em cada etapa – desde a extração dos folículos capilares até à implantação. O desconforto foi mínimo e senti que cada detalhe foi executado com precisão e cuidado.
Durante as primeiras semanas após a operação, tive cuidado com o meu couro cabeludo, que ficou ligeiramente vermelho e apresentava pequenas crostas. A dor foi mínima e fácil de gerir com as orientações que recebi da clínica. Após algumas semanas, as crostas começaram a cair, a vermelhidão diminuiu e o meu couro cabeludo ficou mais calmo.
Durante os primeiros meses, perdi alguns dos cabelos transplantados, o que já era de esperar. Mas, após cerca de dois meses, começaram a crescer novos cabelos e foi incrivelmente emocionante ver os primeiros fios a aparecer. Semana após semana, a transformação tornou-se mais visível. Ao fim de três a quatro meses, comecei a sentir que o cabelo estava a preencher áreas que antes eram ralas e, aos seis meses, começou realmente a parecer natural.
Agora, nove meses depois, estou extremamente satisfeito com o resultado. A densidade capilar é boa, o cabelo cresce numa direção natural e cobre até áreas que eu pensava que seriam difíceis de preencher. O resultado parece natural e equilibrado e, embora a maturidade total ocorra normalmente por volta dos doze meses, já se sente muito estável e forte.
Passar por este processo tem sido simultaneamente emocionante e educativo. Desde as consultas até à operação e recuperação, senti-me bem acompanhado em todas as etapas do processo.
