Chris Bumstead’s Hair Transplant in Turkey

In a recent Instagram post, Bumstead shared that he was in Istanbul with his brother-in-law Iain Valerie for a hair transplant. Their destination for the treatment was Now Hair Time, a clinic renowned for its expertise in hair restoration treatments.

Bumstead traveling all the way to Turkey might come as a surprise to some but this isn’t the first time a celebrity has had a hair transplant from Now Hair Time. Other prominent athletes such Francis Ngannou and Tracy McGrady also visited the same clinic for the procedure.

The big question is, instead of getting his hair transplant from the U.S, why did Bumstead visit Turkey. Contrary to what one might think, the answer might not solely be based on financial considerations. 

Let’s explore some key reasons that might have influenced Bumstead’s decision:

It’s not uncommon for celebrities and public figures like Chris Bumstead to engage in influencer deals. These deals often involve receiving services at a reduced cost or even for free in exchange for promotion on their social media platforms.

A hair transplant involves three main steps: removing hair, keeping it safe, and then placing it in thinning areas. In the first step, hair is taken from the back of the head where it’s usually thicker. The method of hair extraction or removal can vary. 

The next step is to preserve the extracted follicles before they are ready to be transplanted. 

Finally, the hair is inserted into the balding areas. This is done by creating tiny incisions or channels in the bald areas, where the follicles are then meticulously placed. The insertion process must be done with precision and often uses tools like angled tweezers to ensure that the new hair looks natural and blends in with the existing hair.
