He has been working in the field of hair surgery since 2011. With other partners, Dr. Balwi founded Elitehairtransplant in 2016. Hair transplants are performed at Istinye University Hospital. Elitehair offers the FUE method. DHI is also possible. The prices of Elithairtransplant are all-inclusive packages with hotel and transfer included.

The best part of the procedure is seeing my hair become dense again after years of thinning and falling off. However, the hairline design did not come out the way I wanted and the donor area has taken longer than usual to heal. I’m just hoping for the best.

Dr. Balwi is the best when it comes to consultation and the hairline aesthetic and design. However, the other stages of the procedure like the aftercare and donor management are still lagging behind a bit. All in all, I am happy with the results.

The best decision I've ever made

I opted for the FUE hair transplant procedure in 2020 and I had just turned 42 years then. Looking back now, this is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I had lost so much hair on my frontal head that I needed 4000 hair grafts from the back. The results show it was all worth it.

The procedure was below standard

The aftercare and donor management were the worst. Some transplanted hair follicles were almost dislodged during combing. To make it worse I did not receive the head massages and there was confusion about which medication I was supposed to be given. The clinic needs to really master how to conduct hair transplants.

Even though I was not completely sold out during the consultation, I decided to go ahead with the procedure because I badly needed it having lost a lot of hair. I’m glad I gave it the benefit of doubt. The results are satisfying.

I have been on many hair treatments to try and grow my hair back but all to no avail. A hair transplant is my last hope and this is why I visited the clinic. I am happy with how the consultation went on as the doctor wanted to understand my medical history so that he can check if there is anything that may disqualify me from having one. Having been cleared, I look forward to the set date for the procedure.
