I am extremely dissatisfied with Dr. Meshkin and his team. Dr. Meshkin is unprofessional, dishonest, and manipulative. During my surgery, while under sedation I experienced severe pain. The sedation wore off while the girls were doing the transplants. I kept on complaining of pain, but nothing was done to address it. While all that was going on I didn’t even see or hear Dr. Meshkin. At the end of the procedure Dr. Meshkin was not even present in the office and I was released from surgery by the assisting girls. It seemed like he had left the office during the procedure,
On the day of my 2nd surgery, Dr. Meshkin showed up about 1 hour after the scheduled surgery. In the meantime, his staff told my brother who accompanied me to the appointment to leave the office. My brother wanted to wait in the reception room while the surgery was being done but he was told that he is not allowed to. They told him to go to the nearby shopping center and wait until he is called to go back. This seemed very shady. The entire fiasco in the office made me extremely nervous. I brought up the issue with Dr. Meshkin who had just arrived. Instead of being professional and compassionate, he immediately became very angry and started threatening that if the procedure was not done, I would lose all the money I had paid. This made me even more nervous and felt extremely unsafe. I refused to have the surgery done in such a hostile and unsafe environment.
As of today, although the transplant procedure was not done, my money has not been refunded. I am trying every avenue to try and get my money refunded. In the meantime, I am writing this review in hoping to help others avoid dealing with such unprofessional doctor.
