A conservative hair line was chosen. The hairline will still appear age appropriate in the future and grafts will be saved for future surgeries. A natural hair line has dominantly single grafts as in this case.

In the present case it seemed to be that the FUT method is suitable. The FUT method has the advantage that many grafts can be extracted without visible impact on the donor area as long as reasonable scar management is performed. Especially for young patient it is necessary to combine the hair transplant with suitable hair loss medication in order to achieve a lasting result and stop the hair loss of the native hair. In the present case the patient is taking Finasteride.

In order to achieve a visual sufficient density usually 30+ grafts per cm² need to be transplanted.

Because of the distance an in-person consultation was not possible for me. However, the clinic responded quickly to all my questions about the hair transplantation. Even a video-call with the doctor and consultant was possible. I was informed of all risks and all questions were answered. The clinic communicated via Whatsapp and E-Mail.

My surgery proceeded without any complications. The clinic is a very new and modern building for medicals. Furthermore the staff was always friendly to me and took great care.
